Company:
Burton Snowboards

Project:
Slatwall presentation for Burton snowboard boots.

Objective:
Burton wanted to unify their in-store presence with a common display style. In addition to strengthening the brand, Burton wanted to organize their product and distinguish themselves within the typically random and disordered retail environment.

Concept 1:
This is a simple wire construction unit with a vac formed or molded overlay. It is small in size to optimize the available wall space. The front graphic is interchangeable and updatable in order to meet promotional needs. A long punchy graphic helps to separate the display from its surroundings and can also be used as a promotional panel.

Concept 2:
This concept aims to bring the Burton boots together into a strong localized brand. The unit is made of heat bent acrylic and molded labels. It can be broken down into smaller units so these smaller shelves can "float" near the larger units giving the concept the flexibility needed for promotional efforts. This concept creates a distinctive "Burton environment" and provides a cohesive presentation.

Concept 3:
This unit aims to display Burton's boots in a different and unique orientation. The angled display is intended to separate Burton from it's surrounding competitors. The clear molded heel slot keeps the unit light and clean. The graphic is intended to demonstrate the boots boarding style. The header and front label provide strong yet clean Burton branding.
